TGIF

We have made it through another week! Congratulations to everyone.

Yesterday, after a long day of classes, Wyatt, Jon, Winny, Kaitlyn and I went to Wolf Pen Creek Park and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Wyatt has a new-found love for the slides and his laugh is music to my ears! He also thinks it's hilarious (as do I) when Jon shoves Winny down the slide. Who wouldn't think that a freaked out canine on a metal slant is pure comedy? There is also a HUGE hill (because the park is used for concerts) and Wyatt absolutely loved running up and down this "mountain".

But here is the funny story of the day folks: Kaitlyn and I were standing on the hill watching Wy run around and I turned to Kaitlyn to tell her something extremely important, I'm sure. We both glanced back at Wyatt to watch him running straight down a very steep part. In what seemed like a split second we watch him fly forward, do somewhat of a handstand with his feet flailing forward in the air, and continue to roll down for maybe 3 feet. We were stunned. Before I could even run down to see if he was okay, He stood up and started cracking up laughing. WHAT A DAREDEVIL! I thought, "I am such a terrible mother!" But when I saw that Kaitlyn, the sweetest, kindest, most caring person was laughing histerically, I knew that I was in the clear. The rest of that trip was spent watching Jon make Wy roll down the hill and get him as dizzy as possible. Truly as sight.

And I may kill Winny, because she probably pooped 4 times right in the middle of where everyone runs up and down. It was like she thought, "Oh, there's a well worn path! Let's get crap on someone's shoe!" Mollie, she may be coming to visit Scarlet permanently.

Cousin Kaitlyn came over and watched Planet 51 with us. We agree that it is cute, and would suggest it to children, but it in NO WAY competes with Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.
